Terms of Service

These terms apply when you book residential cleaning with Selah Spaces LLC in Lubbock, Texas. They are written plainly on purpose — if anything here is unclear, ask us before you book.

Assessments and estimates

Assessments are free and carry no obligation. We do not quote prices by phone, text, or email — we quote in person, after we have seen the home, because that is the only way to give you an accurate number. An estimate is valid for 30 days and assumes the home is in substantially the condition we saw it in.

If we arrive for the job and the home is materially different from what was estimated — significantly more soil, more square footage, or work outside the agreed scope — we will stop and talk with you before doing anything that would change the price. We will never add a charge without your agreement first.

Booking and payment

• A booking is confirmed when you agree to the price and pay the deposit.
• A 50% deposit is due at booking and holds your date on the calendar.
• The remaining 50% is due upon completion of the job.
• Invoices and payment links are issued and processed through Stripe.

Cancellation and rescheduling

• Reschedule or cancel with at least 24 hours notice and your deposit is fully refunded or moved to your new date.
• With less than 24 hours notice, the deposit may be retained to cover the reserved time.
• If we cannot access the home at the scheduled time and cannot reach you, that is treated as a same-day cancellation.
• If we ever need to cancel or reschedule, you get your deposit back in full, no questions.

Access to your home

You do not need to be present during the cleaning. You are responsible for telling us how you want entry handled — a key, a code, or being there yourself. Please secure any valuables, firearms, cash, or irreplaceable items before we arrive, and let us know about alarms, pets, or areas you would rather we not enter.

Our guarantee

If something in the agreed scope was not done to standard, tell us within 24 hours of the job and we will come back and re-clean that area at no charge. We would rather fix it than keep money for work that did not meet the standard.

What we do not do

For safety and liability reasons, we do not: climb higher than a two-step ladder, move furniture or appliances heavier than we can safely handle alone, clean up biohazards, perform mold remediation, address pest infestations, handle human or animal waste beyond routine litter and accidents, or clean exterior windows above the ground floor.

Damage and liability

Selah Spaces is licensed and insured. If we damage something, tell us within 24 hours and we will make it right — repair, replace, or reimburse. Please point out any items that are antique, fragile, or of unusual value before the job so we can take extra care or leave them alone.

Except in cases of our own negligence or willful misconduct, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, normal wear, or defects revealed by cleaning.

Supplies

We bring our own supplies and equipment, and it is included in the price. If you would like us to use a specific product in your home — or to avoid one — tell us and we will honor that.

Photos of your home

We sometimes photograph our work. We will never publish a photo of your home — on social media or anywhere else — without asking you first and getting a clear yes. You can change your mind at any time and we will take it down.

Text messages

If you consent, we will text you about your assessment and appointments. Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Lubbock County, Texas.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version posted here on the date you book is the version that applies to your job.
